Mary Louise Johnson

BRIDGEVILLE - Mary Louise Johnson passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018. She was born in Richmond, Va., on Tuesday, March 29, 1938 daughter of the late Furman G. Bishop and Viola (Ramsey) Bishop.
Mrs. Johnson retired from Greenbelt Elementary School in the Prince Georges County School District after dedicating 20 years of service as a School Nurse's Aide. Upon her retirement, Mary and her husband Joseph moved to Bridgeville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her loving husband, Joseph F. Johnson; four daughters, Pamela Michie, Cynthia Saul and her husband Kerry, Lynne Bristow and her husband Lawrence, and Teresa Johnson and her husband Kenny; two sons, James Michie, IV and his wife Donna and Garland Michie and his wife Sherry; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great- grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at 3:00 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 2:00 p.m..
Entombment will follow the Services at Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Savannah Road, Lewes, DE.
