MILFORD - Mary H. Hobbs of Milford died Friday, May 25, 2007, in her home. She was 81.
Mrs. Hobbs was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late John and Clara Williams Hudson.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed babysitting and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Hobbs attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Milford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Hobbs in 1971.
She is survived by three children, Charles Hobbs of Milford, Ginny Kefauver and her husband, Lynn of Bridgeville and Sharon Joseph and her husband, Donnie of Bridgeville; four grandchildren, Charles Hobbs Jr., Steven Hobbs, Kim Davies and Donny Strahle; three great-grandchildren who meant the world to her, Kaitlyn Davies, Ryan Davies and Elizabeth Strahle; a brother, John Hudson of Delmar; and two sisters, Alice Clark and Faye Morris, both of Harrington.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Georgetown.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947; or Lower Delaware Autism Association, 33815 Clay Road, Suite F, Lewes, DE 19958.
