TOWNSEND - Mary Ellen Alexander, of Townsend, Del., passed away on Mar. 31, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John; daughter, Mary Ellen Greene; son, John C. Alexander; three grandchildren, Chad and Blake Alexander and Tess Greene and brother Samuel C. Knotts, Jr. visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, April 6, 2012 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street in Middletown, where funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 7,2012. Interment will follow in Townsend Cemetery. www.daniels-hutchison.com
