Mary Elizabeth Zaunfuchs, 75 TEMPLEVILLE, Md. - Mary Elizabeth Zaunfuchs, of Templeville, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at home. She was 75. She was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Foley, Ala., to the late Ignatius and Mary Etsel Polauf. Mrs. Zaunfuchs was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Paul Robert Zaunfuchs She is survived by three sons, Marty Zaunfuchs of Fairfax, Va., Dennis Zaunfuchs of Templeville, and John Zaunfuchs of Marydel; one daughter, Diane Stein of Sudlersville, Md.; two brothers, Joseph Polauf of Hartly, and Frank Polauf of Connecticut; seven sisters, Elizabeth Gessner of New Jersey, Barbara Ponella of New York, Marge Wallace of Hartly, Theresa Crue of Galena, Md., Anna Ford of Sudlersville, Helen Polauf of Pennsylvania, and Agnes Pechin of Massey, Md.; three grandchildren, Rachel, Amber, and Julian; and one great-granddaughter, Mysam. A service was held in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, Md. Interment will be in Templeville Cemetery.
