DOVER, DE - Mary Edwina Lanzoni passed away Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at home.
She was born September 2nd, 1935, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to the late Richard C. Schiedt and Mary Felicita Smith.
Mrs. Lanzoni loved being a mom. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and she loved her cats and birds.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Wisniewski.
Mrs. Lanzoni is survived by loving husband of 25 years, Anthony Lanzoni of Dover, DE; her sons, Charles Groff, David Groff, and Thomas Groff; her daughters, Linda Murphy, and Christine Henderson; and her two stepchildren, Anthony Lanzoni, and Theresa Pratt; her 12 grandchildren; and her 22 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 10:00am, Wednesday August 9th, 2023, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, Delaware. Friends may visit one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the local SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
