Mary Claire Little

WORTON, Md. - Mary Claire Little, of Worton, died on Saturday, May 10, 2008, in Chestertown. She was 53.

She was born in Baltimore on Jan. 10, 1955, the daughter of the late Norman A. Little Sr. and Rosemary W. Little of Worton.

Miss Little enjoyed swimming, arts and crafts. She loved her friends and caregivers at Kent Center and enjoyed spending time at Camp Fairlee Manor.

She was also involved with Special Olympics.

Miss Little was devoted to her family and very involved with their lives.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her bothers and a sister, Norman A. Little Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Newman Little of Miramar, Fla., Jennifer Corcoran of Hershey, Pa., Charles Edward Little of Las Vegas, James Joseph Little of Chesapeake Beach, and John Stuart Little of Worton; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, High Street, Chestertown, where relatives and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Interment will be in Galena Cemetery, Galena.

Instead of flowers, contributions to Kent Center, 905 Washington Ave., Chestertown, MD 21620; or to Chester River Home Care and Hospice, 6602 Church Hill Road, Chestertown, MD 21620.

Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, Chestertown.
