Mary Catherine Lynch

DOVER - Mary Catherine Lynch of Dover died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at Kent General hospital. She was 65. Mrs. Lynch was born August 6, 1946 in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. to the late Francis Rudzianski and Josephine Venuto Rudzianski. She had received her law degree from New York Law School in 1983, and her bachelor's degree in Education from Mills College of Education in 1968. Mrs. Lynch had taught in Berlin, Germany on base as a civilian. She had her own general law practice in New York City and was an adjunct professor of law at Wesley College in Dover and at Wilmington University. Mrs. Lynch was for many years a member of the ABA and the National Director of moot court challenges. She was a talented musician. She is survived by her husband, Howard E. Lynch, III of Dover; daughter, Elizabeth Kates of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.; and by her brother, John Rudzianski of Montrose, Pa. Services will be 2 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at Christ Episcopal Church in Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
