Mary B. Liden

SEAFORD - Mary B. Liden, of Seaford, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at her home. She was 86. Born in Caroline County, Md., Mrs. Liden was the daughter of the late William Betton and Eunice Tamsey Rogers Betton. Her husband, Dawson William Liden, died Jan. 10, 2001. Mrs. Liden had lived in Caroline County all of her life until she moved to Delaware in 1973. She was a 1942 graduate of the Greensboro, Md., High School. She was a production worker for General Foods in Dover. Mrs. Liden is survived by two daughters, Beverly A. Wright and her husband Gene of Seaford, and Barbara J. Ewing and her husband Kyle of Haines City, Fla.; one brother, William J. Betton of Denton, Md.; and two grandchildren, Eric Barb, and Christopher Wright. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca B. Brown and a brother, George G. Betton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton, MD 21629, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
