Martin Coulbourne

SMYRNA - Martin Coulbourne, 55, formerly of Smyrna, passed away suddenly on November 24, 2015 in Rockford, Illinois, where he worked for Chrysler Corp. He was passionate about the ocean spending as much time as possible at the Delaware beaches. Coming from a long history of sea captains and watermen, Martin also enjoyed the Tall Ships. He is survived by his sons, Tate (Jen), Tyler; and granddaughter, Marissa, all of Smyrna; mother, Jean of Wilmington; sister, Jackie of Perry Hall, Md.; nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceeded in death by his father, Floyd. Private family services were held on Saturday, December 5, 2015. In lieu of flowers his family requests donations in memory of Martin Coulbourne to: Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park, P.O. Box 132, Nassau, DE 19969 or Kalmar Nyckel, 1124 E 7th St, Wilmington, DE 19801
