DOVER - Mark Raymond Harris passed away Thursday May 30, 2013 at home. Mark was born Jan. 9, 1958 in Dover, Del. to the late Charles R. Harris and Anne S. Sheridan Harris. He owned A. Bills Lawnmower Service in Rising Sun, Del. Mark had also worked as security for Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway. Mark at one point had worked at Boscov's and Silo in retail sales. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, cooking, fishing, watching the Baltimore Orioles and NASCAR. Mark will also be remembered for his very unique sense of humor. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved chocolate lab Cocoa. He is survived by three brothers, Rev. Jeffrey Harris and his wife Gloria of Liberty, S.C., Kevin Harris and his wife Cheryl of Clayton, Del., Charles Harris, Jr. and his wife Traci of Bradenton, Fla.; sisters, Christine Faulkner, Louise Andrews and her husband Jon all of Dover and Melissa Miller and her husband Gary of Harrington; eleven nieces and nephews, Alicia Deese and husband Bob, Jonathan R. Andrews II, Jeffrey Harris, Jr. and wife Susan, Jason W. Andrews and his wife Megan, David M. Harris and wife Kim, Matthew D Miller, Sarah E. Miller, Rachel C Harris, Jennifer L Harris, Hannah G. Harris, and Ryan K. Harris; and four great-nieces and nephews, Michelle F. Andrews, Ila C. Deese, Peyton Coleman and James Mackin. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, DE.. Friends may call two hours prior. Interment will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Kent County Breast Cancer Coalition, 165 Commerce Way, Suite 2, Dover, DE 19904 or American Diabetes Association of Delaware, 100 West 10th Street, Suite 1002, Wilmington, Delaware 19801.
