HARRINGTON - Marjorie Ann Cool, 60, of Harrington died Monday, May 30, 2011 at her home. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Edgar Levi Wells and Arlene Naomi Zahniser Wells. Marjorie was previously employed by Gant Shirt Factory and Terminex. She graduated second in her class from Wor-Wic Business School. She was a member of Pilgrim Chapel in Harrington. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was an excellent cook. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, W. Kendall Cool; four children, Michael Insley and his wife Cassandra of Laurel, David Wells and his wife Angelia of Mardela Springs, Katrina Huebner and her husband Michael of Harrington, and Gretchen Ardis and her husband Gregory of Salisbury; four grandchildren, Alaina and Summer Wells and Madison and John Ardis; several grandpups; two brothers, Fred "Butch" Wells and Ned Wells; a sister, Edith "Edie" Short; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Dorell and Louise Long. A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Pastor Ken Hickman will officiate. Interment will follow in Mardela Memorial Cemetery in Mardela Springs. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
