Marion M. Sherwood, 85 GEORGETOWN - Marion M. Sherwood, of Georgetown, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Bayhealth at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford. She was 85. She was born in West Penn Township, Pa., the daughter of the late Paul and Florence Heisler Haas. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano, cooking and baking. She was a member of the Milton Wesleyan Church in Milton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Florence Heisler Haas; a sister, Mae Carter; and a grandson, John Souder. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Paul Sherwood; five children, Paul H. Sherwood and his wife Debby of Salisbury, Md., Richard Sherwood and his wife Carol of Milford, Marion Marvel and her husband James of Milton, David Sherwood and his wife Jennifer of Nichols, K.Y., Debra Souder and her husband, David of Gumboro; five sisters, Iola Zehner, Ruth Hurlburt, Eleanor Brownell, Annette Almon, Elaine Fisher; and one brother, Paul Haas; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., today, April 15, at the Milton Wesleyan Church, 411 Union St., Milton. A visitation was held Wednesday night at Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. Contributions may be made to: Milton Wesleyan Church, 411 Union St., Milton, DE 19968.
