She moved, in 1951, from Brooklyn, N.Y., to Delaware and had resided, with her husband, in New Castle, Lewes and Milford. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard C. "Rick" Torbert; two sons, Terry Torbert and wife Debra of Newark and Tom Torbert of Milton; three grandchildren, Christopher Torbert, Tracy Pellitier, and Michael Torbert; and two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Regan Torbert.
