GREENWOOD - Marie W. Haines died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Milford Center. She is the daughter the late George Henry Wilson and Lillie Short Wilson. She worked in retail for Henry Saunders Jewelers and W.T. Grants and was an inspector for NCR prior to retirement. She attended the Church of Christ in Milford and liked to sew and go to Rehoboth Beach and Florida. She was preceded in death by her brothers Harold and Elwood Wilson. She is survived by her three children, Nancy A. Armstrong and husband Richard F., Walter A. Millman and wife Thelma Jo, and Bonnie M. Haines Swain and Eric; one brother, Melvin Wilson and wife Betty Lou; five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, DE. Interment will be private at Union Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Georgetown Regional Office, P.O. Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947.
