GOLDSBORO, Md. - Marie E. Weer of Goldsboro died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in home. She was 87.
She was born May 30, 1920, in Schwenksville, Pa., to the late Horace and Marie Susanna Vogt Landis.
Mrs. Weer was a homemaker and assisted her family on their family farm.
She enjoyed gardening and needle crafting and loved to go fishing with her husband.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Weer Sr., who died on Sept. 11, 1999.
She is survived by two sons, William H. Weer Jr. and Robert Weer, both of Goldsboro; one brother, Allen Landis of Linfield, Pa.; one granddaughter, Nicole Brougher of Chesapeake, Va.; and one great-grandson, Nicholas Brougher.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where friends may call one hour prior.
