Marianne 'Mae' Wysocki, 87 CAMDEN - Marianne "Mae" Wysocki, of Camden, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at home. She was 87. Mrs. Wysocki was born Sept. 7, 1920, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Joseph Gagala and Marianne Penkala Gagala. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, canning, and being with people, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wysocki was a member of the Modern Maturity Center and attended Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Wysocki in 1959; and her son, Joseph Wysocki Jr. She is survived by her son, Thomas Wysocki and wife Nancy of Chicago, Ill.; two daughters, Jane Carlson and husband Charles of Camden, Barbara Wysocki of Ambler, Pa.; one brother, Francis Gagala and his wife Ethel of Iron Mountain, Mich.; ten grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where friends may call two hours prior. Interment will be in Chicago. Due to services being held in Chicago, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Ave., Dover, DE 19904.
