Margaret W. Swain

LINCOLN - Margaret W. Swain, formerly of Lincoln, Del. passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. Mrs. Swain was born in Milford, Del. the daughter of the late Ernest and Laura (Argo) Watson. She worked at Leggett's in Milford as an office manager for many years before retiring in 1986. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jay Watson and Earl Watson and her sister, Louise Donovan. She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Swain Wilson and her husband William of Bethany Beach and Marlane Swain Parsons, of Bristow, Va.; one granddaughter, Melissa Lewis and her husband Steve; two great-granddaughters, Elaina Lewis and Sarah Lewis as well as her close friend Donna Russell, of Ellendale. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Cedar Neck Church, 3413 McColley Rd, Milford, DE 19963.
