Margaret S. Wisher-Waters, 70

DOVER - Margaret S. Wisher-Waters of Dover, formerly of Magnolia, died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 70.

Margaret was born May 9, 1937, in Magnolia, to the late Frederick and Sarah Mosley.

She received her education at Mt. Olive and Booker T. Washington schools.

Margaret attended Mt. Olive Church as a young person and later became a member at Calvary Baptist Church in Dover.

She enjoyed raising her family and babysitting for several other families. She also enjoyed playing bingo and sewing, and was a source of information for her family.

On May 25, 1952, Margaret married the late Franklin "Junior" Wisher. To this union seven children were born.

On Nov. 27, 2004, she married Cornnell Waters Sr.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Mosley and Charles "Buddy" Mosley.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of over two years, Cornnell Waters Sr.; her children and spouses, Lydia and Douglas McCray of Georgetown, D Frederick "Ricky" and Christine Wisher of Dover, Roy Wisher, Ruth and Willis McTeer, all of Magnolia, Sandra Ward of Dover, Emma Bowers of Frederica, and Trina Waters of Dover; nine stepchildren, including two special stepchildren, Yvette Potts and Cornnell Waters Jr.; 24 grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilson and Betty Waters of Dover; one sister, Emma Mosley Woodall, all Magnolia; eight brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law, including a special sister-in-law, Charlotte Waters of Dover; three nephews; three nieces; three aunts, Bertha Foote and Mabel Jones, both of Baltimore, and Sara Woodlin of Ambler, Pa.; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services will be noon Saturday at Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be in Whatcoat Cemetery.
