MILFORD - Margaret S. Knight, 80, of Milford, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at home. Mrs. Knight was the daughter of the late Casper and Emma (Clendaniel) Sennett. She taught for the Lake Forest School District and the Georgetown Christian School for several years before retiring in 1976. She was a past member of the First Baptist Church of Milford and the First Baptist Church of Georgetown where she and her husband George were very instrumental in establishing the bus ministries. Margaret was currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Georgetown. She also taught Junior Church and Vacation Bible School for many years in both Georgetown and Milford. She was also an avid collector of dolls. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George G. Knight; three daughters, Pat Smith and her husband Arlen of Georgetown, Cyndi Knight and her fiancee' Larney Johnson, and Diane Jenkins and her husband Ray, all of Milford; three sisters, Elsie McFadden, Barbara Jones and Patsy Sennett; four brothers Norman Sennett, George Sennett, Earl Sennett and Wayne Sennett; five grandchildren, Jennifer Wright (John), Courtney Connelly (Kris), Arlen Smith, Jr. (Juanita), Garrett Jenkins and Ashlyn Johnson; and four great-grandchildren, Carson Wright, Addyson Wright, McKenzie Smith, and Madison Johnson. Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pastor Richard Blades will be officiating. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Georgetown.
