Margaret M. Thomas, 80

DOVER - Margaret M. Thomas, of Dover, died July 22, 2009, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 80. Born in Wyoming, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Macko Thomas. In her earlier years, Margaret had worked as a cook in a Catholic Rectory for several years prior to retiring and dedicating her life to her family. She had lived in East Stroudsburg, Pa., prior to moving to Dover in 2008. She had always enjoyed cooking for family and friends as she loved sharing what she knew best with them. Margaret will be greatly missed by those lives she touched. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son, Gregory, who died in 1998 and is survived by her granddaughters, Margaret and husband Elliot Iriarte of Dover, and Brianna and husband Charles Nace of E. Stroudsburg; grandson, Aaron Thomas of E. Stroudsburg; and two great-grandchildren, Miranda Kay and Emilia A. Iriarte, both of Dover. A Memorial Mass will be offered in her memory at St. Mathews Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg, at a later date. Arrangements are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. Dover. Condolences and Guest Book may be signed via www.ambruso.com.
