Margaret 'Peg' Harney, 76
LEWES - Margaret "Peg" Harney of Lewes passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Lewes, where she was a resident for the past 12 years. She was 76. Mrs. Harney passed with her husband by her side, who went to care for her three times each day.
Mrs. Harney was born Sept. 20, 1930.
She retired from the banking industry in 1994 as a training teller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Fr. Peter Harney.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Pat Harney; a sister-in-law, Eileen Leonard of Falls Church, Va.; three sisters-in-law in Ireland and a sister-in-law in England.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. today in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude's Church Building Fund, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE 19958.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
