Margaret Grow

Margaret Grow, 65 LITTLE CREEK - Margaret Grow, died Thursday, February 25, 2010, in her home. She was 65. Mrs. Grow was born October 17, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late William Magaw and Frances Warren Magaw. She worked as a nursing assistant for Genesis Health Care for 24 years, at both Heritage of Dover and Silver Lake Nursing Home, and had previously worked for Crescent Farms and others. Mrs. Grow was a member of the Little Creek Ladies Auxiliary. She was a caring person and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Mrs. Grow is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold G. Grow III of Little Creek; two sons, Butch and Bill Grow, both of Little Creek; ten grandchildren, Heather, B.J., Kayla, Matthew and Sierra Grow, Bob, Ron and Brian Hill, Teri Owens and Jason Bodine; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
