DOVER - Margaret Bernadette Miriello died Tuesday, Dec. 22nd, 2015 at Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover. Born in County Mayo, Ireland, she was the daughter of Patrick and Anne (Duffy) McDermott. Bernadette was a member of Holy Cross Church in Dover. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and was especially fond of her Irish heritage. Most of all she cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents, Bernadette is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles G. Miriello; three sons, Michael Miriello and wife Laurie, of Newark, Thomas J. Miriello, of Dover, and Sean Miriello and wife Elizabeth, of East Berlin, Pa.; one daughter, Bernadette Kolakowski and husband Tom, of Dover; nine grandchildren, Rachel Miriello, Alex Miriello, Wesley Miriello, Colleen Miriello, Liam Miriello, Emily Kolakowski, Thomas Kolakowski, Peter Kolakowski, and Claire Kolakowski; along with one brother, Thomas McDermott, of County Mayo, Ireland. A viewing will be held on Monday, Dec. 28th, 2015 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., 1175 S. State St., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St., Dover. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Dover.
