Crawford, she was born on Feb. 28, 1945 in Norristown, Pa. She and her family moved to Delaware when she was young, as her parents continued their careers in teaching and education. Maggie graduated from Smyrna High School in 1963. She received her Associate's degree from Virginia Intermont College in 1965 and later her Bachelor of Science from Delaware State College. Maggie worked 25 years as a cytologist for the State of Delaware at the Delaware Public Health Laboratory. Maggie maintained contact with her high school friends throughout her life and often met them at monthly luncheons in Smyrna. She was devoted to her family, providing care to her mother, aunts, and uncle as they each progressed in age. She took great joy in being a grandmother to three young girls. Maggie was fond of reading and enjoyed Public Broadcasting. She was married to H. Terence Willey, her husband of 40 years, who passed in 2005. She is survived by her two sons, Lt. Col. Steven Willey (DE ANG), of Bear and his wife, Brandy, and two daughters, Leah and Chloe; and David Willey, Esq., of Fairfax, Va., and his wife, Luisa, and their daughter, Charlotte. She spent her later years with her companion, William Fisher. Surviving family on her husband's side include, Michael and Vernell Abella, Melody Abella, and her husband, Brian Wyatt, Holly Smith and her daughter, Faith Smith.
