REHOBOTH BEACH - Margaret Ann Anderson of Rehoboth Beach, passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at the age of 86. She was born the daughter of the late Margaret and Charles Weitzel. Over the years Margaret worked at National Cash Register, the Debraak Inn, the Seahorse Restaurant, the Garden Gourmet, Norma's Sub Shop and the Visiting Nurse's Association as a Home Health Aide. She was a member of the Rehoboth Senior Center and enjoyed going on the bus trips to Spence's Bazaar and Sam's Club. Margaret was an avid Phillies baseball fan. She will be remembered for her love of crocheting and knitting. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Weitzel; her father, Charles Weitzel; her stepfather, Ralph Mahan; and a stepbrother, Bill Weitzel. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Charles D. and Dottie Anderson of Dover and Ralph and Carolyn Anderson of Milton; six grandchildren, Dawn (Sean) Momot, Matthew (Jessica) Anderson, Lori (Darin) Wardwell, Pamela Chanoux, Denise (Charles) Thompson and Matthew Dille; seven great-grandchildren; one great, great-grandchild; and a special niece, Lynn Anderson. There will be no viewing and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
