Marcia Lynn Graybeal, 49

DOVER - Marcia Lynn Graybeal, of Dover, died on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, in Christiana Care, Newark. She was 49.

Mrs. Graybeal was born Nov. 25, 1958, in Dover, to Neal W. Tanner and Marlene Hobbs Tanner.

Mrs. Graybeal worked as office manager for the Medical Society of Delaware in Newark.

She was a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church and was very active with its youth group. She was a very spiritual woman.

Mrs. Graybeal participated in the Relay for Life in Middletown for many years.

She loved animals, especially tigers and her dog, Bandit.

Mrs. Graybeal is survived by her mother, Marlene Wilson and her husband Elmer of Camden; her father, Neal Tanner of Rutland, Vt.; her husband of 26 years, Stephen Donald Graybeal of Dover; her son, Jeffrey Andrew Graybeal and his companion and mother of his children, Nadine Moore of Mount Holly, N.J.; her brother, Daniel Tanner and his wife Cindy of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Nalonna and Jordan Graybeal; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Christ Memorial Baptist Church, 1160 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover.

Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Christ Memorial Baptist Church Youth Group, in care of the Church.
