Manuel Naveira Jr., 86

LAUREL - Manuel Naveira Jr., died Monday, October 12, 2009. He was 86. Survivors include his wife, Gerda Imbach Naveira; sister, Balbina Naveira Konyak; his daughters, Lee A. Naveira McCullough, and Tracy E. Naveira; his step-sons, Arthur R. Berkowitz Naveira, Kenneth M. Berkowitz and Ralph S. Berkowitz; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 17, at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, where at his request, coffee and donuts will be served.
