Magnolia woman charged with sixth offense DUI

MAGNOLIA — A 52-year-old Magnolia woman was arrested on a sixth offense DUI charge following a traffic stop Thursday, Delaware State Police said.

Police said that at approximately 4:18 p.m., troopers were called for a reported DUI in the area of Cinnamon Way, The Reserve of Chestnut Ridge.

Troopers said Kristine Moskal was seen driving on Almonds Way when her vehicle travel into the grass, failed to stop at a stop sign, failed to signal before making turns, and fluctuated in traveling speeds. The vehicle stopped in a driveway and a trooper observed signs of impairment upon contacting the driver, police said.

Ms. Moskal was taken into custody after partially completing the standardized field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and charged with the DUI offense and traffic offenses. She was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,005 cash bond.
