Magnolia man faces drug, firearm charges

DOVER — A 20-year-old Magnolia man was charged with drug-dealing and firearm counts following a traffic stop Friday.

Dover police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said Isaac Jones-Riddick was stopped in a vehicle near South Dupont Highway and Lotus Drive at approximately 2:15 p.m. as part of an investigation. He was taken into custody without incident.

A vehicle search located a loaded 9 mm Ruger handgun, a loaded 9 mm Glock, 62.4 grams of marijuana and $1,159.

Mr. Jones-Riddick was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, on $100,400 cash-only bail.
