M. Raymond Welch, 86
M. Raymond Welch of St. Augustine, Fla., previously of Harrington and Rehoboth Beach, Del., died November 18, 2021, after a brief illness.
Ray was born January 23, 1935, in Viola, Del. to the late M. Raymond and Margaret Welch. Besides his parents; he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Evans and Ann Farrow. Ray retired from Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horse racing, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with his family. He loved to tell stories and make people laugh.
He is survived by his wife loving wife of 65 years, Janice Holloway Welch; son, Alan Welch, Felton, Del.; and daughters, Rayna Welch, Milford, Del., and Lisa (Darrell) Gravatt, St. Augustine, Fla.; three grandsons, Scott Kelley, Zachary Butler, and Bryan Ramsey. Also, surviving by brother, Warren Welch; and sister, Clara Todd.
