Essick, 78 HARTLY - M. Louise Wallace-Essick of Hartly, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 17, 2012. She was 78. Mrs. Essick was born Jan. 30, 1934 in Townsend, Del., the daughter of the late Walter J. and Bessie (Morris) Wallace. Louise was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children, spending time with her grandchildren, and gardening and canning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret L. Essick. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Earle; two sons, Harry Essick, Jr. and his wife Karen of Clayton, and Don Essick of Wyoming, Del.; a daughter, Sarah Essick of Dover; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery, Smyrna, DE.
