DOVER - Lynn E. Bliler, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009. She was 52. Born Sept. 5, 1956, in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late William O. and Pauline Reed Thompson. Lynn attended Goldey Beacom College and Delaware Tech where she majored in business. For the past 14 years she had served as a Comptroller at Townsend Bros. Chevrolet. Lynn had a passion for gardening and reading and especially enjoyed coaching field hockey along with supporting her daughter in softball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ginger Lynn Bliler; and a sister, Kay Margaret Thompson. Lynn is survived by her husband of 19 years, Gregory Bliler of Dover; three daughters, Holly Thompson and her partner Justin Strickland, Beth, and Heather Bliler, all of Dover; brother, William O. Thompson Jr. of Newark; sister, Anne P. Kabino of Rehoboth Beach; sister, Hope T. Mitchell of Lewes; brother, Thomas N. Thompson of Rehoboth Beach; sister-in-law, Brenda Williams of Smyrna; brother-in-law, Jeff Bliler of Frederica; sister-in-law, Cathy Bliler of Newark; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews whom Lynn loved dearly. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State Street, Dover. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at the Wyoming Methodist Church, Broad Street, Wyoming. Interment will be in Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. The family suggests donations in her memory to Polytech Field Hockey, 823 Walnut Shade Road, Woodside, DE 19982.
