Houston - Lydia Burton Johnson died at home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Will and Georgeanna Sharp Johnson. She graduated from Harrington High School Class of 1941. She worked in the cafeteria at Harrington High school prior to her retirement. She was the last surviving and youngest of her nine siblings. She is survived by her care givers Bill and Nora Johnson and their daughter Heidi, Carolyn Chisenhall, Hope Hollaway, Sally Dawson, Shirley Dill, Crystal Cramer and Melissa Murphy, many nephews and nieces and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2:00 in the chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, Delaware where friend may call one hour prior for a viewing. Interment will be Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, Delaware. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Milford 6062 Old Shawnee Road, Milford, DE 19963.
