MARYDEL - Lucille L. Burns, of Marydel, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 69.
Mrs. Burns was born May 11, 1939, in Augusta, Maine, daughter of the late Charles and Lucy (Cote) Bell.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard A. Reny; five brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by her companion, John K. Spencer; three sons, Randal A. Reny and Ronald J. Reny, both of Maryland, and Robert J. Reny of Dover; a daughter, Renee A. Lipsky of Hartly; two brothers, Robert Bell and his wife Sue of Windsor, Maine, and Phillip Bell and his wife Theresa of Augusta; two sisters, Gertrude Sanford of Augusta and Annie Geroux of Chelsea, Maine; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna.
