GREENSBORO, Md. - Louise T. Dyer Price, of Greensboro, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, in her home. She was 93.
She was born June 7, 1913, in Greensboro, daughter of the late Acie and Bessie E. (Hutson) Tribbitt.
Mrs. Price was a lifetime resident of the Greensboro area, and worked at Reach Glove Factory for 40 years, retiring in 1978.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Raymond Dyer, in 1962, and Dudley Samuel Price, in 1989; two sons, Robert Lee Dyer, in 1974, and William Shorts, in 2000; four brothers Carvel Tribbitt, Francis Tribbitt, Mervin Tribbitt and Harry Tribbitt; three sisters, Lucy Price, Betty Hicks and Eva Buckle; a grandson, Mike Shorts; and a great-granddaughter, Faye Schmitt.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Gene and Jenny Shorts of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter and a son-in-law, Elsie and William R. Conner of Harrington, Del.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. William Shorts of Denton; two stepdaughters, Thelma Jones and Carolyn Collins, both of Arizona; a brother, Everett "Sonny" Tribbitt of Ridgely; a sister Mabel Stranahan of Denton; 18 grandchildren; 44 step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 66 step-great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; 35 step-great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery.
