CAMDEN-WYOMING - Louise Ruehl Darling, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012. She was born in Marydel, Del. on April 11, 1929, to the late Charles and Charlotte (Meyer) Ruehl. Louise worked as a switchboard operator for Diamond State Telephone and then worked the switchboard at the Dover Air Force Base for 17 years when she retired. She enjoyed conversation with friends at Brown's and going to local casinos with her sister. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Charlotte 'DeeDee' Darling; a son, Ronald Lee 'Ronnie' Darling, Jr. of Wyoming. She is survived by her sister, Gertrude Burgess of Dover; her son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Lisa L. Good-Darling of Wyoming; her grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Darling III of Salisbury, Md., and Brianna Darling of Dover; daughter-in-law, Charlene Darling of Dover; great-grandson, Ronnie Lee IV; great-niece, Rayann of Dover; and a special friend, Alice M. Bryant who she thought the world of; and several cousins. Service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where visitation will be two hours earlier. A fellowship will follow at the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge. Burial will be private. Instead of flowers family suggests donations to Children's fund at Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge.
