GREENWOOD - Louise O. Milbourn went home to be with her lord on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1932 in the living room of her family home. By her wish and God's blessing, she was able to leave this world in the same living room where her life began.
Born in the heart of the Great Depression, she was very resourceful and valued relationships with people over material items. She was a selfless woman who loved unconditionally. She treasured her family and would do anything for anybody. She found great joy in being around other people. She spent many days at the CHEER center with friends, holidays in rooms filled with family and laughter, Sunday's at Todd's Chapel where she was a faithful member.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Harold P. and Georgianna Outten; her beloved husband, Ralph W. Milbourn; and five siblings.
She is survived by her brother, Everett Outten; her children, Larry W. Milbourn, David R. Milbourn, Sr., Marlene R. Ryan, and Carol M. Hurd and her husband Ronnie; her grandchildren, David R. Milbourn, Jr., April M. Milbourn, Erica M. Sizemore and her husband Neal, Stephanie L. Vodvarka, Justin R. Ryan, Jennifer L. Tripp, and Kelly N. Johnson and her husband Aaron; her great-grandchildren, Torin, Collin, Kayleigh, Dawson, Peyton, Kole, Joella, Westyn, Remington, and Hannah; and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market Street, Greenwood.
Interment will follow at Todd's Chapel, Greenwood.
