DOVER - Louise Margaret Fredericks passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Louise was born in Newark, New Jersey on April 25, 1938 to the late Joseph and Edith Sellmeyer.
Louise worked as an Executive Secretary for over 20 years for The First National Bank of Abescon. She also worked as a waitress for many years. After retiring, Louise moved to Long Neck, DE from Tuckerton, NJ. Her favorite thing to do was go shopping. When she was not shopping, she could often be found bird-watching, listening to music, playing games on her computer or playing bingo. Louise was a beloved mom who would sacrifice anything for her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by husband, John R. Fredericks and brothers, Alfred Sellmeyer and Joseph Sellmeyer, Jr.
Louise is survived by daughters, Luann (Vincent) Cimino of West Chester, PA and Janel (Rocky) Rawstern of Central Point, OR; sons, Richard (Jennifer) Fredericks of Egg Harbor City, NJ, Robert Fredericks of Tuckerton, NJ and Joseph (Sherry) Fredericks of Camden; brother, George Sellmeyer (Karen) of Islip, NY; sister, Lorraine Calhoun of Daytona Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Melissa, Christopher, Angie, Robert, Mark and Joshua along with six great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
