Louise E. Legates, 94
MILTON - Louise E. Legates of Milton died Saturday, May 26, 2007, in Huntsville, Ala. She was 94.
Mrs. Legates was born in Dallas on Nov. 27, 1912, the daughter of the late Wallace and Louise (Bartlett) Horner.
For many years, she was an LPN in New York state and Delaware, then she became a homemaker.
Mrs. Legates enjoyed crocheting, bingo and traveling to see her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Legates in 2002; and a brother, Joseph Horner.
She is survived by four sons, Wallace Reumann of Rubinsville, N.C., Donald Reumann of Huntsville, Ala., Richard Reumann of Tarkio, Mo., Robert Reumann of, Albion, N.Y.; two daughters, Rose Gielow of Strykersville, N.Y. and Sally King of Laurel; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Horner of West Seneca, N.Y.; sisters, Celestine Fridman, Elvy Williams, both of New York and Mabel O"Brien of Calif.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday in Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Road, Milton.
Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
