MILFORD - Louis Walls passed away on Sun., July 28, 2013 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Louis was born in Milford, Del., the son of the late Riley and Anna (Dulin) Walls. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the store manager at the A & P in Milford and Berlin, Md. He was a member of the Calvary U.M. Church in Milford and the Milford Senior Center. He was a coin and bottle collector and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, William Walls, Robert Walls, John "Dick" Walls and Margaret Emory. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Ann Emory Walls; three children, William F. "Bill" Walls and wife Lorna, A. Rick Walls and Jay Walls and wife Shirley; one sister, Pat Pleasanton; seven grandchildren, Heather Andrews and husband Chris, Ryan Walls, Chance Walls, Kristi Berry and husband Ryan, Rick Walls, Jr., Daniel Walls and wife Kandace and Lauren Webb and wife, Stacey and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wed., July 31, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
