Louis Chalupa, 90
DOVER - Louis Chalupa, of Dover, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, in Westminster Village. He was 90.
Mr. Chalupa was born March 19, 1917, in Croatia, to the late Frank Chalupa Sr. and Anna Sokodich Chalupa.
Mr. Chalupa worked as a carpenter for 40 years, retiring in 1977.
Mr. Chalupa recently moved to the Dover area.
He loved deep sea fishing and golfing.
Mr. Chalupa is survived by his three sons, Louis Chalupa of Sarasota, Fla., Phil Chalupa of East Hardwick, Vt., and Joseph Chalupa of Phillipsburg, N.J.; three daughters, Joyce VanNess of Magnolia, Chris Chalupa of Califon, N.J., and Maria Chalupa of Phillipsburg; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to Westminster Village Health Center, 1175 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904; or Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
