DOVER - Lou Gene Hill, went home on April 6, 2009, after a long time illness. He was born on July 29,1955 in Smyrna, to Virginia June Hill whom preceded him in death and father Leonard Hill Jr. of Dover. He leaves behind a wife, Marie Hill of Dover; two brothers, Leonard Hill of Magnolia, Allen Hill of Georgetown, and another brother that has preceded him in death, Robert Hill; five sisters, Joyce Warren of Camden, Linda Ware of Las Vegas, Nev., Clara Yerkes of Milford, Beulah Hill of Wilmington, and Shirl Thompson of Mardela, Md.; four brothers-in-law, Arthur Warren, John Ware, Robert Yerkes III, Darnell Thompson; one sister-in-law. Bobbi Hill; a special friend, Erma Clark of Dover; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family wishes that all contributions be sent to Hospice. Memorial Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover. Burial will be private.
