FELTON - Following a long and courageous battle with cancer, Lorraine Darrell Colston died on December 13, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones at her daughter's home in Felton. She is preceded in death by her brother, John Darrell; and her sister, Ethel Geiger. She leaves behind her husband, Charles; her daughters, Brenda Carletti (Dave) and Donna Thompkins (Paul); and her son, Charles Russell (Luann). She is also survived by her sister Beatrice Betterly (Gerald). Lorraine has six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who will dearly miss her. Lorraine was born on January 22, 1937 to Boyd and Alice Darrell. She was married in 1956 and devoted her life to her family. Lorraine took joy in bringing laughter to everyone she was around. She was a gentle, kind, sweet loving lady who would always lift your spirits. Lorraine left an imprint on everyone she met so memories of her will live on. Lorraine requested to be cremated. A life celebration for the family will be held in January 2015. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to The National Breast Cancer Foundation. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
