Loretta Mae (Hill) Gallaway, 44
DENTON, Md. - Loretta Mae (Hill) Gallaway of Denton died Monday, March 12, 2007, in University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. She was 44.
Born in Easton, Md., Mrs. Gallaway was the daughter of Henrietta (Magness) Hill of Ridgely and the late Harvey Hill Sr.
She attended North Caroline High School in Ridgely.
Mrs. Gallaway was a homemaker and worked for Dr. Shriver at the Denton Animal Hospital, and also McDonald's in Denton.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence "Rocky" Hill, in 1979.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, H. Robert Gallaway of Denton; two daughters, Anna Lee Hignutt of Denton and Jennifer Marie Johnson of Kent Island; two grandchildren, Mark Johnson Jr. and Jessica Christine Johnson; two sisters, Joanne (Hill) Thomas of Kent Island and Roxanne (Hill) Covington of Ridgely; one brother, Harvey Hill Jr. of Denton; nine nieces and nephews, Tina Marie McCowan, Tanya Ann Thomas, Christine Ann Tracy, Harvard Eugene Tracy III, Douglas Lawrence Tracy, Lisa Hill, Michael Groce, Timothy Covington and Angie Covington; and four great-nieces and great-nephews, William McCowan, Savannah McCowan, Tahlyiah Cook and Xsavious Cook.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m.
Interment will be in Denton Cemetery.
