Lois Virginia Brown, 82 LAUREL - Lois Virginia Brown, age 82, of Laurel, died on Nov. 22, 2009, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gettysburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Daniel and Ethel Johnston. She enjoyed quilting, crafting and watching game shows on TV. Her family will always cherish the Sunday dinners at her home. Lois is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Stofell and husband Ralph, Cindy Brown, Linda McGrew and husband Roger, Sharon James, and Sue Harris and husband Tom; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews also survive her. At her request all services will be held privately. The Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel, is serving the Brown family.
