BRIDGEVILLE - Linda White of Bridgeville passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, in Seaford Center, where she was a resident there for five years. She was 94.
She was born March 7, 1912.
Linda lived in Bridgeville all of her life.
In the 1930s she was a postal telegraph operator.
Linda married Gilbert White in 1942 and became a housewife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Sulinda Calhoon and her husband Gilbert "Sandy" White.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Linda Layton and husband Michael and Barbara Tull and husband Daryl, all of Bridgeville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Mary Gilbert Layton of Wilmington; Anne Villalobos and her husband Osiel and children Aiden and Avery, all of Seaford, and Scott and his wife Lisa Tull and children Courtney and Dylan of Greenwood.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville, where friends may call at 1:30 p.m.
