Gerald R. Edwards (Gee / Jerry), USAF (Ret), 90
Lieutenant Colonel Gerald R. Edwards (Gee / Jerry), USAF (Ret), completed his mission here on earth and received his new wings from the Lord on January 7, 2022.
Gee was born in New England where he met the love of his life, Patricia. Together they traveled the world, creating a fulfilling life and raising four children – Wendy (Steve), Anita, Mark (Sally), and Dawn – who will carry on his legacy of unconditional love.
In addition to his wife and four children; Gee is survived by a brother, Howard; a sister, Marilyn; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
As you walk through life, there are few people that you will meet who are pure and wholesome to the depth of their being. Gee was one of the purest and greatest – a true icon of Christianity, love and grace. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, speaking his name will bring a smile of remembrance to your lips.
The family will hold a small service and lay him to rest with full Military Honors. A celebration of his life will be held when it is safer to gather as friends and family.
