FREDERICA - Lewis O. Forwood Sr., of Frederica, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 81. He is survived by son and daughters-in-law, James H. and Donna Forwood, Scott A. and Kimberly Forwood; daughter and son-in-law, Gale I. and Chuck Schlagenhauf; two brothers; 14 grandchildren , 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Services were 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where a visitation was one hour prior to the service. Interment was in Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Bear.
