Stamp, Jr., 81 CAMDEN - Leonard B. Stamp, Jr. of Camden, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at home. He was 81. Mr. Stamp was born September 27, 1933 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania to the late Leonard B. Stamp, Sr. and Anna Clark Stamp. He served four years in the United States Air Force, and was honorably discharged and went to work Civil Service at Dover Air force Base, from 1958 till his retirement in 1991 retiring as a supervisor for Ariel Port Maintenance, Civil Service. Mr. Stamp loved to play golf and was a member of Eagle Creek Golf Course at DAFB and a member of MISGA, a golf league, he also enjoyed going to golf breakfast at Boscov's on Wednesday's with his golf buddies. He was very proud of his multiple hole in one's, one lucky guy! Lenny loved long walks, nature and loved to garden. He was a loving father, grandfather and was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Flemming Stamp; and sister, Claire Hamilton. He is survived by his daughters, LuAnn Mason and her husband Robert, Lynn Marie Watts and her husband Douglas; sons, Leonard B. Stamp, III and his wife Cheri and Lawrence B. Stamp; grandchildren, Leah Michelle Mason Stonebraker and her husband Kurt, Ryan Scott Mason, Morgan Lee James and her husband Carlos, James Douglas Watts, Anna Marie Watts, Candice Michelle Stephens and her husband Brandon, Robert L. Mason; great grandchildren, Hunter Noel Stonebraker, Fallon Elise Stonebraker, Whitney Kate Stephens and Ava Mason; and his companion of 20 years, Minette Estes; siblings, Betty Lou Steers, Carol Ann Prickett, William B. Stamp, Nancy McManus, Joan Wolf. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be private and held at Delaware veterans Memorial Park, Bear. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S.
