DOVER - Leo Lituski passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Kent General Hospital.
Leo was born January 5, 1939, in Greensboro, Maryland to the late Frank Lituski and Ella Knox Lituski. He grew up in Greensboro and eventually moved to Dover to be near his job at Playtex.
Hired at a young age, Leo worked at Playtex for 43 years, ending as a Quality Control Specialist in the late 90's. Leo was a huge Jeff Gordon fan, and after retiring, he enjoyed working at Dover Downs on race weekends. He also enjoyed RV camping for 15 years at "Holiday Park" in Greensboro, Md.
Leo enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a hard worker, always dependable, and faithfully provided for his family. Leo was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He always kept himself busy, whether it was working around his home and yard, or spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Deborah Balangn; and his three siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jacqueline Allen Lituski of Dover; daughter, Debbie Smith and her husband Jim of Felton; and daughter, Patty Lamb of Dover; stepson, Franklin Saulsbury and his wife Pam; and stepson, Sheldon Saulsbury all of Easton, Md.; he is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
